A 23-year-old student tests are positive.

Kerala Health minister KK Shailaja yesterday confirmed that a 23-year-old boy is suffering from Nipah virus and is admitted in Ernakulam private hospital and tests positive for Nipah virus.

Also, she said all the necessary steps were being taken. And asked people not to worry.

There are many people who were in contact with the student are being monitored. She said the Karnataka health department completely ready to deal with such situations.

And also two nurses in the same hospital also having sore throat and feeling some other difficulties are also being monitored.
